This evening we were delighted to welcome Barbara Barber back to
Wombourne Quilters.

It has been 18 years since Barbara last visited us and she told us how
nervous she had been on that occasion. No nerves were evident this
evening as Barbara displayed wonderful quilts which had won awards all
over the world.

Barbara shared techniques on applique and machine quilting with us
and also some excellent tips. She has promised to come back and visit
the group again when she has completed her Equinox quilt. We all look
forward to that visit.

Members help is needed to put together the quilt top and then to quilt.
Donations of fabric are also needed. Please come along and help on the
day.

If anyone would like to use the quilting frame on the day please let Kate
know as soon as possible.

Wombourne Quilters will once again have a stand at the show to promote
the group. Please let Kate know if you will be able to help on the stall
during the day.
