Happy New Year to all Wombourne Quilters
Our first meeting in 2013 is on Wed 16th January when Jayne Spark will be showing us how to make Wiggly Bags for Hickman lines. These are colourful little fabric bags for children to hold Hickman lines.

Kate has received an electronic version of the entry forms from Angela Price, the new show manager at Uttoxeter and she is going to send me paper copies too. The show is on 26th -28th April and the closing date for entry forms has been extended to March 18th (this is the absolute deadline for entry forms to reach the organisers).
We hope this will encourage some of Wombourne Quilters to enter, as it is great to have the group represented at this, our local show. So many of the pieces that you bring to our Show and Tell meetings would look good in this show and the quality of your craftsmanship is certainly worth exhibiting. The work does not have to have been made especially for the show although there is a Special Theme section - 'New Beginnings', if you do want to make something special for that category.
