Next session - workshop by Janet Leeper March 6th

Fabric From Paper
This is an exciting workshop which will result in some creative and inspiring bases for your stitch for use in embroidery, cards, paper quilts, pictures etc. The resulting fabric can be machine stitched, hand stitched, printed or used in collage.
It's a wonderful way to use up scraps of fabric, threads and paper ephemera which may have meaning for you.

Please bring:

  • A pair of scissors
  • A plastic carrier bag
  • A clean 1/4" paint brush
  • An apron
  • Plastic gloves if you are of an allergic disposition!
  • Small scraps of fabric you would like to use; ribbon, tapes, small scraps of lace etc.
  • Papers you would like to incorporate; tickets, stamps, handwritten notes, envelopes, paper napkins, tissue paper, maps, flyers, newspapers, wrapping paper....nothing too thick.
Janet will provide CMC which is the glue.

Visitors will be welcome! Bring a friend!
