Bag Making Day

This Saturday several members gathered together and hired a lovely hall in Bradmore to make bags which will be used in a bag tombola at the Wombourne Quilt Show which is to be held on September 21st at Wombourne Community Hall (Library).

Denise below is working on a lovely neat little Japanese style bag - perfect for a special occasion.
Here are hers the right way in! or out...
Carol (the bobbin juggler) made these below I think because she's a purple girl!
What lovely bright, cheerful colours:
OK it look like it's all work but honestly there's a lot of cake eating, chatting, book envy and coffee drinking and especially laughing too!

Please members get your bag making fingers working and bring in as many as you can as it's a huge fund-raiser!

This Wednesday (May 15th) is the AGM - we need everyone there. Bring a plate of food and enjoy some socialising afterwards - it's not all business!! 7.30pm.
