Wednesday 20th November plan - come and join us!

Hello everyone
We will be making three items from ‘Inchies’.
1. A small box made from covered pelmet Vilene which can be used to hold a chocolate or other small present,or made into a tree ornament
2. A tree decoration
3. A small ‘artwork’ made from embellished inchies, which could be framed or used to make a greetings card
Box - pelmet Vilene, Christmas fabric, bondaweb, and some embellishments and ribbon will be provided but you can bring any scraps you would prefer to use.  If you are  bringing your own fabric, you need one piece of outer fabric which is a minimum of 5”x 3½”, and another for the inside (can be calico).  We will have various sequins and small beads available, but bring your own as well.
Tree decoration - we will provide Vilene, Bondaweb, some Christmas fabric, and beads and sequins, or you can bring your own.  You will need two matching squares of Christmas or glitzy fabric about 2”square, sequins/beads, thread and ribbon or cord for hanging.
Artwork - this will be made from a felted background.  Felt, pelmet Vilene and some suitable threads and wool will be available, together with some felting tools.  If you have felting needles, please bring them.  The edges of these inchies will be finished by hand – blanket stitch with stranded or perle cotton, so please bring a selection.  Themes could be a landscape, the four seasons, Christmas, a display of tiny natural found objects, or buttons – anything at all.
Equipment – we will have two or three sewing machines available, but it would help enormously if a couple of members could bring basic machines – anything capable of zigzag stitching.  We will provide cutters, cutting mats and rulers and extension leads.
Hope to see you there - guests welcome!
